The World of Teryon
The world is old, its roots running deep beneath lands and ruins of ages long gone. Kingdoms have risen upon the foundations of those that came before, inheriting fragments of histories they never fully understood. Across the continent of Aedar, forgotten roads still lead to abandoned cities, while ancient monuments stand as the only witnesses to civilizations erased by time.
Teryon has never existed in isolation. Beyond it lie primordial realms whose arcane influence predates every known civilization. The oldest surviving records speak of the Prism, a fractured veil separating these realms from the physical world. Wherever that barrier weakens, their influence seeps into the land, altering nature and leaving scars that endure for generations.
No other civilization pursued the mysteries of the arcane more completely than the Galvarian Empire. At the height of its power, it united much of the known world beneath a single crown and established the calendar still used today. Then came the Great Exodus. Within a single generation, the greatest civilization in recorded history vanished, leaving behind only ruins, scattered knowledge, and mysteries that have remained unsolved for more than a thousand years.
Now, the age that followed stands in uneasy balance. The Prism continues to weaken, and forgotten magic stirs once more. Ancient places abandoned for centuries are being rediscovered, while relics of the past emerge where they were long believed lost. The history of Teryon is far from complete, and each new discovery offers another fragment of a world that has yet to surrender all its secrets.
The peoples of Aedar
Across Aedar, diverse civilizations have risen from the remnants of ancient empires, each preserving its own traditions, beliefs, and history. From the kingdoms of humanity to the elves of Fenwood and the mysterious beings of the Void, the people of Teryon inhabit a world marked by its past.
What is Teryon?
Teryon is a world of high fantasy, where the echoes of the past shape the future of the living. Across its lands, the remnants of forgotten ages linger in the artifacts of fallen cities and in the hands of those who dare to wield powers once thought lost. Magic lives here too, wild and aware. Its primal rhythm beats through storms and people alike. Yet to understand magic is to risk being changed by it, for the realms that lie in wait hunger for existence beyond the Prism, waiting for the chance to devour the world.
This tabletop roleplaying experience is built around choice and consequence. Gameplay is reactive, and every action carries weight, shaping not only the world but the fragile balance between the realms beyond the material. Combat follows the same rhythm: cinematic and tactical. Your story will unfold across the fractured continent of Aedar, from the marbled spires of Pallatia to the black citadels of the Lokians, and from the gilded deserts of the Hemedi to the frozen coasts of the Treverian clans.
The Teryon Core Rulebook will feature nine distinct origins, twenty-one classes, and extensive character customization options, including a freeform character creation system.

Is Teryon still in development?
Yes. Both the Core Rulebook and Companion VTT are currently in development. New content, previews, and updates will be featured regularly on this website.
When will Teryon be released?
An official release date has not yet been announced. A release timeline will be provided once development reaches its final stages.
What is the Companion VTT?
The Companion VTT is a virtual tabletop designed specifically for Teryon, featuring character creation, interactive character sheets, battle maps, tokens, virtual dice, and animated spells and abilities.
Will the Companion VTT be required to play Teryon?
No. Teryon can be played as a traditional tabletop roleplaying game using the Core Rulebook. The Companion VTT is an optional digital platform designed to enhance the experience.
How much will Teryon and the Companion VTT cost?
The Core Rulebook will be available for purchase in physical and digital formats. Pricing for the Companion VTT, including which features will be included with the purchase of the Core Rulebook, is still being finalized.
Will Teryon have a crowdfunding campaign?
A crowdfunding campaign is being planned to support Teryon's release. Further details will be announced through our newsletter and community channels.
Can I play Teryon before its official release?
Public playtesting, demonstrations, and early access opportunities are being considered. Availability and participation details have not yet been determined.
